Good Film

We recently rented this from Netflix. We were curious to see how Hollywood treated such a beloved biblical account, and I must say they did an amazing job. I highly reccomend it to everyone. You know they get points in their favor when you can feel the Spirit just watching the trailer. It is a drama, and there is a lot filled in that the scriptures can't cover, but the character portrayals are all well thought-out and ring true to the spirit of these great people. You can easily forgive the very traditional (though not scriptural) Three Magi--by name Caspar, Balthezar, and Melchior--because they serve as our thoughts as we come to search for Christ. It is a very good film and one that we will certainly buy when we have the chance.
