The Fruit of Her Labor

Elena has been earning pennies and nickels for doing jobs around the house--sweeping up Cheerios under the table, putting toys away, setting the table, and making her bed. Today she had the chance to spend some of her hard-earned money on some ice cream from a neighborhood push-cart vendor. She chose a Blue Bell cone with chocolate and nuts.
