Um... A shawl, some mittens, socks, ridiculously tall socks, socks, a sweater for the baby (color pending until a week from tomorrow), socks for Elena, three more socks, another shawl, and yet more socks.
The red shawl is already halfway done.
I thought I knew where my life was headed... Now I discover what life is all about.

I can't match the projects with the packets. Are they both in the same order?
They're all in the same order. So the red in the top left is the shawl I'm almost done with, the red and white just to its right is mittens that'll look like your stocking, etc. Most of the balls are 50g (enough for one sock or a pair of anklets/kid's socks), but the long twisted hanks are 100g (2 adult socks or a small shawl) and knee-high socks require 150-200g, so they'll have 3 or more balls in their bag. Also, I didn't bother to put out all the yarn I'll need for the baby's sweater.
I think I kept getting lost in the socks count somewhere.
I love the green shawl you made last year. Is the red one like it?
Not at all. The red is a lacy triangle and the green's a solid supposedly-half-circle. (if you follow the pattern it's a half-circle, but I didn't have enough yarn so I cut out a pair of rows in each set of bands--that moves the increase rows closer together and makes the circle spread faster than intended. it fits nicely, though, and makes a great scarf.)
